Cultural Event Report - the Philadelphia Art Museum

The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview about my experience attending the Philadelphia Art Museum on March 15, 2013. The museum is Located in Philadelphia, PA and the exhibition that caught my attention was Journeys to New Worlds it explores the artistic exchanges between Spain and Portugal and their colonies in the Americas and Asia during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. (The Philadelphia Museum of Art, p. Philadelphia Art Museum). A journey to New Worlds originates The exhibition is magnificent and two pieces that I enjoyed were Our Lady of Mount Carmel with Bishop Saints, and Our Lady of Pomata, a coquera.
